Colorful Colorado

So a few weeks back I got the opportunity to visit beautiful Colorado again for my Auntie Kristie' Shower for baby Caroline. I can't wait to meet her in July!

We had a great time at the shower and Auntie Kristie looked so good! It was so much fun to meeting so many of Mommy and Grami's friends and seeing all of the fun new things that Caroline will get to play with!

My Great-Great Grandma Tillie as even able to attend the shower- she is 100 years old! Here is a picture of her with all of her Great-Grandkids and me!

I had so much fun playing in Colorado! Take a look at this video of me giggling with Grami Tami.

My Uncle Andy was home from his police academy, where he graduated as the "Top Cop" in his class. We are so proud of him!

Grami and Pop Pop have a wonderful park and simming pool at the house so I got to play at the park while I was there. I had the whole place to myself! It was great-

I attended a barbeque with all of Mommy's friends in Denver while we were there. Mommy's friend Megan is expecting a little one too in July. We can't wait to find out if it will be a boy or a girl. Congratualtions Megan and Adam!

The last night we were in CO, I got to have dinner with my Great-Grandma and Grandpa Green. I had such a great time. Grandma Lou read to me and I even fell asleep in Grandma Green's arms.

It was a wonderful trip and I can't wait to go back. Love you all!

My trip to Arizona

I am so sorry I haven't written in such a long time but I have just been so on the go.

A few weeks back I got to go visit Gigi ( great-grandma) and GGrandpa Schopbach in Arizona. Grami and Pop Pop flew down too so I had so many people to have fun with, including Gran Tia Becky and Auntie Tammy and Uncle Gary! Here are a lot of pictures from my trip!

I was so good on the airplane! I even helped the flight attendent greet the other passengers as they got on the flight. SO much fun!

It was so much fun to play in Arizona and to explore the different landscapes! There are so many funny plants with stickers that Mommy said I couldn't touch. I even got to smell the bouganvilla with Gigi.

While I was there I got to go swimming for the first time. I had a BLAST in the water. Grami bought me a raft to go in the water that had a little canopy so I could stay in the water as long as I wanted to- in fact I stayed in so long I decided to take a nap in the pool. It was so great. I finshed my nap in my car seat under the pergola while everyone else got some sun. I didn't get a tan but I did look pretty cute in my little swimming suits!

I had so much fun playing and hanging out with all of my family and getting to know Auntie Tammy and Uncle Gary. Grami and Pop Pop even babysat one night so Mommy and Daddy could go on a dessert date- they didn't know what to do without me!

We even took pictures with FOUR GENERATIONS of our family

In the end I had such a fun time but I had to rest up for my next trip to Colorado!

Love! Emma

A tale of two Christmas's

Hello! I am finally back from my whirlwind travel tour that took me on 5 airplanes and three different states. Mommy has told me that I was a good little traveler. In fact on of my flights one of my fellow fliers told me I should be a pilot because I was so good on the plane. Waiting in the airport is another story. I just get so excited to get where I am going. So here is a quick run down of what I was up to over the last month.

As you know I got to spend 2 weeks with Grandma and Grandpa von Goertz in Minnesota. It was so fun meeting all of Daddy's friends and family especially my cousin SoLace. I just know we are going to be best friends. Here are some of the highlights of the week

  • I attend the annual Knife River Sing-a-Long at G&G vG's. Over 60 people came to meet SoLace and me and to sing their favorite Christmas carols. This has been happening at Grandma's and Grandpas for over 20 years now- but something new this year were the eight little ones in attendance.

  • After all of that fun we got to celebrate Christmas eve at Great Auntie Marcia and Uncle Dave's. We had some wonderful food and read the Christmas story and sang some more Christmas carols. It was a great time!

  • After that on Christmas morning we went to Church and then to Daddy's godparent's Steve and Carol Carlson's. They had more wonderful food (someday I will get to eat it too) and Santa even showed up after a long night's work to say hello to all of us little ones.

  • Our last few days in MN we spent in Minneapolis at the first Annual George Swor after Christmas party at Great Auntie Kathy and Uncle Erling's. We has such a blast and even left with some fresh Lefsa!

After all the fun we had in Minnesota we continued on to sunny Colorado to see Grami and Grandpa Green at their new house. It was great to see my Mommy's immediate family again- that Uncle Andy is so funny and Aunt Kristie and Uncle Josh are going to give me another cousin soon, I love them so much. I also got to meet some other special people in my life

  • I first got to meet my Great Grandma and Grandpa Green. People tell me I look like Grandma Lou- what do you think? They were so much fun and made me laugh.

  • I also got to meet my Great, Great Grandma Tillie. She is going to be 100 years old in just a few weeks. She still lives by herself still and was even strong enough to lift my chubby monkey self up all by herself!

  • My Great Grandma and Grandpa Schopbach flew all the way from Arizona to meet me. They stayed with us for a few days and my Grandpa even made me laugh out loud. They are so funny!

  • My Grami threw a party for me while we were home and I got to meet some other GREAT people- like my Great Aunts and Uncles and Mommy's cousins. It was so nice to have everyone in one place at one time

  • Lastly, I got to see my Auntie Meggie again and I got to meet Aunt Steff and Aunt Aspen too. It was great to finally meet more of Mommy's friends

After meeting so many people it was time to go home- but I had so much fun we might just do it again next year. Hope you are all having a great new year! As always I posted more pictures of my travels in my web album. Love you!
